The Australian Grand Prix begins March 14th and goes through the 17th. The Formula One World Championships came to Australia in 1985. It was first based in Adelaide. In 1993, there was a contract that was signed to move the race to Melbourne. When the Adelaide contract ended the race started taking place in Melbourne’s Albert Park. In 1996 Albert Park opened the Formula One season for fans and drivers.
Albert Park is set in a stunningly beautiful park that is around a huge lake. Albert Park is south of the Melbourne city center. The fans and drivers love the season opener being at Albert Park. They love it because of the warm climate and the views are simply stunning.
The season opener track uses the existing roads that are around the lake. The roads are very smooth, in fact, extremely level for road circuits. One positive about this track is that it is very fast. There are 16 turns, which combine a quantity of high and low-speed turns. This track has a few of chicanes and passing areas in the brake zones.

The International Automobile Federation and its World Motor Sport Council decided that 21 races would be held next year and 11 of them are in Europe. They also declared that five races would be in Asia. Followed by having four races in the Americas, and one race in Australia. This season begins on March 17th, this one is at the Albert Park in Melbourne, Australia. The season ender will be held December 1st in Abu Dhabi. The International Automobile Federation has agreed upon several practical rule changes, these consist of the alignment of passing procedures as soon as safety cars can return to the pits.
